BAPL research and development
British Apples & Pears Limited (BAPL) works on behalf of growers to commission new research into pests and diseases.
Our aim is to provide growers with the latest and best information to help them protect their crops and deliver the highest quality fruit to retailers and their customers.
Our work is funded by British apple and pear growers via a voluntary levy.
BAPL is also part of Horticulture Crop Protection (HCP) Limited, which delivers much needed EAMUs (Extension Authorisation for Minor Use) and EAs (Emergency Authorisations) so our British apple and pear growers can protect their crops.
